Great hotel! We were not only thrilled by the magnificent view of Lake Hallstatt and the surrounding peaks. The location is also perfect. Those seeking relaxation will get their money's worth here, as will those seeking adventure. Numerous cross-country ski trails, hiking trails (also accessible with snowshoes), mountain bike trails and via ferrata start directly in front of the hotel. We booked the Suhrkamp room at the weekend. While I'm showering, the sun rises on the Dachstein, nice. An espresso afterwards, what more could you want? This is how to chill. You order breakfast with a few crosses like on a night train. All right. What you get served minutes later is something to be proud of. Especially the selected teas. We spent a relaxing family weekend in this wonderful house in this great location! After a restful and quiet night, a long walk in the forest with the family and dog, then a breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired, a browse through the fabulous selection of books and an afternoon in the private garden/bathing area at Lake Hallstatt...
